Adam Goffstein's primary focus is protecting victims and their families in areas of personal injury, wrongful death, pharmaceutical litigation, medical implant litigation, auto/trucking accidents, commercial litigation, product liability, employment law, and premises liability.Mr. Goffstein's cases have been featured in many periodicals, newspapers, and television news programs including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, St Louis Post Dispatch, ABC, NBC, and CNBC.Mr. Goffstein is an adjunct law professor at Washington University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers, The Lawyers Association, The Colorado Bar Association, The Utah Bar Association, and The Missouri Bar Torts Committee. Mr. Goffstein is admitted to practice law in the state of Missouri, state of Colorado, state of Utah, and various United States District Courts throughout the country.Adam M. Goffstein is a native of St. Louis. He graduated from the University of Colorado and the University of Missouri Law School. Mr. Goffstein began his career under trial attorney, Charles M. Shaw. 

John H. Goffstein specializes in litigation. John is a past President of the St. Louis County Bar Association. John has been Chairman of the Employment Law Section of the St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Association. Mr. Goffstein and his cases have been published in ABA journals and numerous Missouri Bar Journals and periodicals. Mr. Goffstein received both his B.S. and his J.D. from the University of Missouri, and was named Outstanding Young Lawyer of St. Louis County in 1976. He is also a member of the St. Louis City Circuit Court’s Mediation Panel, is a federal court certified Mediator and he has also served the labor – management community as an Arbitrator. He is also special counsel to the Office of the City of St. Louis Circuit Attorney. Mr. Goffstein was appointed by the Governor of Missouri and unanimously confirmed by the Missouri Senate to serve as Director of the Certificate of Need Program for the State of Missouri overseeing hospital and nursing home care and construction facilities. He was appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court and served for eight (8) years as a Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Missouri Bar Association to secure the enforcement of ethical rules pertaining to lawyer conduct for (Twenty-First Judicial Circuit), in St. Louis County. He was appointed by the Mayor of the City of St. Louis to serve to serve 2 consecutive 4 year terms as one of three District (“MSD”) Directors where he served as Chairman of the Agency, which regulates federal and state funding of clean water and environmental projects. John also is a member of the Missouri Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Eighth Circuit, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.

Sheri

Sheri Schmitt has been a Paralegal and Legal Clerk for over 25 years. Sheri started out in the Circuit Clerk’s office in The St Louis County  Courthouse – Clayton before going to private practice.  Sheri worked for two other law firms for many years before working at Goffstein Law. Sheri has been a valued member at Goffstein law since 2015.


Sheri ensures that clients’ needs are met. She has the skills to do pretty much anything
according to Adam.
